The Perfect Off-Site Addition For A Sports Team

Running a local sports team is a rewarding venture. Owners draw from their communities and local support networks to aid in the maintenance of their clubs to ensure eventual sporting success. Although all of those in sports teams aspire to the great heights of the Premier League or the Bowls National Championship, the harsh reality is that local clubs find it difficult to expand.

This is primarily down to the limited funds that teams such as these have. If it comes to a stage where these teams hope to expand their facilities, or at the very least breathe new life into existing spaces, finding a cost-effective solution can be difficult. The fantastic benefits of modular buildings, however, may offer local clubs a solution, which we explore in this blog.

Modular buildings for sports teams

The difficulty in offering new facilities for sports teams is that each sport will have different requirements. Of course there are commonalities between most, the typical disparity between the types of facilities requested by different sports teams can mean that any plan for expansion or redevelopment quickly become very expensive ventures. Modular buildings do however offer a solution, and this is down to the way in which they are constructed.

Modular buildings are produced through what are known as off-site construction methods. This means that rather than constructing your building on your current site, the building is put together in another, controlled location. For Springfield, this takes place in our ISO-approved workshop in St Helens. This means that you modular building is produced at a much faster rate as it is not affected by any adverse weather, and your existing site isn’t overrun with the various components that come with traditional construction.  Therefore, you’ll be relatively undisturbed during your season. Once your building has been finished off-site, it can be delivered and installed in a matter of days.

The speed in which a modular building is constructed, means that it is typically cheaper than expansions which utilise traditional methods, whilst still offering a building of brilliant quality and durability.
