Can You Use A Modular Building For Your Church Hall?

Newcastle Baptist Church –  a few ideas for how your new building space can be used:

We created a massive space for a wide range of activities throughout the week including midweek communion, fellowship groups and sessions dedicated to youth groups, young students and children. Holiday clubs are now also offered along with regular social get-togethers including summer Barbeques.

Churches can be important resources for communities by offering many different activities daily which clearly has the positive effect of bringing the Church and its community closer together through these activities. Just a few current uses:

  • Fellowship groups
  • Youth groups
  • Holiday clubs
  • Summer BBQs
  • Playgroups
  • Exhibitions
  • Counselling
  • Creche

With the space used for:

  • Meeting rooms
  • Classrooms
  • Admin Offices
  • Pastoral offices
  • Kitchens
  • Toilets
  • Shower/Changing rooms
  • Parties/Celebrations

It becomes clear, therefore, that any church keen to offer modern, adaptable space and facilities at a price that is affordable really should be considering modular for their needs.

This was much the case for our client, Newcastle Baptist Church. They needed to replace a building that was in a state of disrepair. This new building needed to not only match existing buildings but also offer flexibility in interior design, without incurring major costs. The numerous activities dictated that the new space should provide two classrooms, male and female toilets and a large hall facility with DDA compliant disabled ramp access as well as a fully fitted kitchen shown above.

Modular Design

  • Design – Whatever you need additional space for, modular construction can address your need, in fact, we often say we only sell space but wrap great buildings around it! Tell us what you need it for, and we will make it suit your need.
  • Cost – Raising the funds to build a brand-new facility from scratch or to expand the space your community has outgrown, is not easy – it can take years to do so. And high traditional building costs aren’t worth considering when you have modular construction as a more cost-effective option.
  • The Community – as we use off-site construction method, the time-on-site installing your new building is greatly reduced in comparison to a traditional build. There is no need for construction to get in the way of existing, regular activities that are in place for members of your community.
