It was with great sadness that earlier this year we announced the death of Ken Britner, who was the CEO of Springfield Modular for over 45 years, having started the company back in 1973.
Today, we take pride in the fantastic achievement of Springfield’s Managing Director and Ken’s daughter Lyndsey and General Manager Diane who have successfully completed their charity skydive in his memory.
On Saturday 15 June, the pair took to the skies in the hope of raising money for The Stroke Association, a charity which is close to their hearts. Both were incredibly courageous in overcoming their fear of heights in the name of charity, and have done Springfield Modular very proud.
In total, the pair have raised almost £4,000, which smashed their initial target of £1,000. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of their supporters who have put their hands in their own pocket for a fantastic cause – thank you! It means so much that we have seen so much support in memory of Ken. For those who would still like to, donations are still open here.
The girls absolutely loved the experience and are now looking for their next challenge!
