Do Modular Buildings Have Bathrooms?
There is a preconceived negative perception of what a portable building looks like, but they are no longer just your bog-standard grey box. Nowadays the modular construction industry provides much more modern, bespoke and high-functioning buildings. Indeed, Springfield Mobile Limited are noted for the massive choice they offer both inside & out when constructing their buildings.
In this article, we explore what modular bathroom facilities can be provided and what makes them a bit different.
What Can I Expect In A Modular Building Bathroom?
In the traditional building process, multiple trades must be coordinated, organised and collaborate to deliver the internal facilities. Careful supervision and management on site is needed to ensure proper task sequencing and quality from plumbers, electricians, tilers, floor layers, sealant applicators, decorators, glaziers, carpenters, etc. and can lead to lengthy delays and frustration should any trade not deliver as planned.
You won’t be surprised to hear that we believe our way is a better way!
All our modular buildings are constructed offsite and fully fitted in our St Helens factory before delivery to site for installation. This of course includes all internal electrics, plumbing, tiling, flooring, decoration, glazing and anything else we can do before installation and all fitted by our in-house dedicated craftsmen in our factory. This eliminates the inevitable delays in coordinating several separate gangs to carry out the work on your site and avoids the coordinating of additional suppliers. Springfield do it all, off-site. The units just need to be connected to the main mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems on installation which again is handled by Springfield.
Of course, every level of care and skill required is readily available with modular construction, but by choosing offsite construction methods, you are effectively eliminating all this extra onsite work, saving significant time and saving materials.

To name a few features, smaller bathroom cubicles, basins and toilets can be fitted for children, following all safety standards. Moreover, a completely modern bathroom complying with welfare standards, any accessibility needs and showering facilities can also be incorporated. If desired, luxury finishes can be incorporated, such as specific lighting, pipework and company logos, colour schemes and images to create a style that is unique to you. These finishes would only add to the high-quality, functioning essential fittings that your bathroom needs. Designing, manufacturing and installing really are completely dependent on what you require within your sector.
