JDP launches latest branch in Cambridge – A Springfield partnership

Leading water management specialists JDP is celebrating its 45th anniversary with a period of significant expansion, growth and investment. The company is expanding its UK branch network with new locations and existing branch upgrades. Significant investment is simultaneously happening in front line sales teams and back office support infrastructure.

JDP has grown over 45 years to become one of the UK's leading and most respected distributors of water management systems. Part of Tessenderlo Group, JDP has in house manufacturing capabilities through its affiliated companies and close partnerships with the world’s leading manufacturers of drainage, civil engineering and building products. Its nationwide network of branches provides a one-stop shop for civil engineering, utilities and agricultural projects and similarly for residential, commercial, public and industrial building developments.

Cambridge was the first branch to be opened, showcasing JDP’s new branch identity. The new customer centre combines a welcoming and efficient place for customers to be served, together with a reduction in environmental impact. It was important to JDP that the modular building supplier could meet exacting standards on sustainability, price and delivery.  Equally vital to executing any successful project meant ensuring customer’s needs were met, with the minimum of disruption during the build phase. JDP chose Springfield Mobile Ltd as the manufacturer and supplier for its Cambridge site.

Springfield Mobile Ltd designed, manufactured and installed the purpose built modular branch. Finished in plastisol coated steel the finished unit provides a clear brand identity for JDP and a professional environment to service a wide range of customers involved in civil engineering, house construction and agricultural management. From their base in NW England, Springfield Ltd will now serve the growing needs of JDP’s branch expansion and upgrade strategy.
